“The most important lessons in life aren’t always learned in the classroom.” ~Pete Herr, Educator and Author
It’s true…and it’s the very reason we started the Steve Tasker Self-Leadership Experience at the Canisius College Center for Professional Development and why we are requesting your assistance to continue. This 2nd annual high school summer camp will be held on July 26, 27 and 28 on the college’s Main Street campus.
The camp will be led by top area educators and will address important issues for teenagers.
93% of surveyed parents rated the 2015 Self-Leadership Experience as exceeding or greatly exceeding their expectations!
The goal of the three-day camp is to help students become more successful in school, at home, and in their future workplace. Having skills like: effective communication, problem-solving, goal setting, and collaboration provides them with an “edge up” on their college applications – and in the job market.
Best known as one of the greatest wide receivers and special teams players in NFL history as a member of the Buffalo Bills, Steve Tasker will draw from his professional experiences on and off the field to help motivate and inspire students during the summer leadership program.
